Custom Design Build
We work closely with you to design and build the guest house you have dreamed of. We advise you on the best use of your land, ADU location, etc. We sketch with you, select style, materials, colors, fine tune it and send to a drafter to get official blueprints to request permits
Formalizing the design to get it approved
Once the architectural drawings are finished, we will send them to the structural engineer to get the required calculations and details. We also send the blueprints to the energy engineer that will calculate how to make the ADU energy compliant and efficient in terms of glazing, insulation, water heater, furnace, AC, etc.
Utilities
We contact the utility companies to work with them to connect the ADU to water, power, gas and sewer. We take care of all load calculations, communications and coordinate their work with the contractor's work
Permitting
We take care of submitting, communicating and getting approval from the fire marshal, the sanitation, planning and building departments.
Construction
We manage the contractors, coordinate activities amongst all parties involved, attend the inspections, schedule material purchases and delivery, etc. keeping you updated weekly
